I want to build my own solar panels. Are homemade solar panels possible? Is there a good book on the subject with detailed instructions?

Yes, I’ve built them myself. I generate about 20% of my monthly power with homemade solar panels. I ordered a video and ebook I found online. I don’t remember the name of it but here is a review site that lists several different instructional guides for homemade solar panels.

It is better to use magnetic generators and it is much cheaper. You can get the full information for free here:

Yes but by the time you buy your cells the glass the ribbon the frame and get use to soldering them without breaking its cheaper to just to buy them used . If you don’t build them right your waisting your money . There is so much more to it then just building panels . You really need to study up on it before throwing your money out the door . If your going to do anything at all you would be best off doing as the other poster said and try to build a magnetic motor .

consider buyting a small solar panel ready to go at your local home supply store. I have seen them around a hundred dollars that can be hooked up to your tv, laptop or rv..call around.
