my economic stimulus proposal?

30 May, 2009  build your own solar panels

get out of afghanistan and iraq ASAP. cut military and pentagon budget in half. sell or give back to countries our bases overseas. provide healthcare for all americans. begin civil engineering projects providing americans with clean energy public transportation, ie electric trains, busses and cars, build as many solar panels and windmills as we can make, putting them in public owned places to benefit all and making a viable option for homeowners to have them as well. would these options not make for good jobs benefitting all americans?

Absolutely.

Also, create a law to enforce balanced budgets.

Limit personal debt further.

    Sure why would we want to have a strong military in this day and age. I say we just disband the entire military and count on Canada to defend us for a change.

    All the above proposals are very good. Except scaling down the military and leaving the overseas bases. It might be very costly for the US in the long run to leave the bases overseas. They are one of the reason US is a Super Power today. Those bases help in stopping any unprovoked action by any country.

    People don't realize how important all those bases are. Suppose, for instance we shut down Thule AFB and Keflavik AFB. Next thing those people will arm and attack Nova Scotia. Then we'll be sorry.
