I need to buy a flat plate solar panel for a water heating solar system that I have planned for my bungalow on the South Coast. When I go on the the web. their are hundreds of sites offering panels of this type but when you log on they only offer complete kits or free quotations to install. I don’t need this as I am quite capable of building my own kit and installing it. I intend to start with one panel around 2m. square and add others later.
Hope you can help.
BB.
I should have asked you not to suggest ebay.
I have tried, but never got anywhere.
I always lose out in the bidding. Even though in one case I bid the highest. Don’t ask! The ramifications are still rumbling on.
The Chinese website is interesting though.
Thanks you two for your input.
I checked the Chinese and in doing so found a UK. company.
The other answer was much appreciated but the web site given as far as I can make out only deal in Photo Voltaic panels not water heating.
I would like to give beat answer to the first answer.
Ebay!
Or go to Chinese websites. They make EVERYTHING..Sometimes i even think they build their own people. They must mass produce them or something.
But yeah, my grandfather owns his own company, and he was manufacturing his product with american made products, but then found a Chinese website that makes the products he needs for a lot cheaper than what he was originally buying them for.
