		<description>Alternative energy simply means an energy source that is more efficient and better for the environment. For instance, CFL lighting is better than the old incandescent light bulb because they waste less electricity (incandescent bulbs waste energy as heat). Now, you can even do better than CFL's, New LED light bulbs can save you even more energy... 

Renewable energy means that the sources that the energy comes from isn't going to end... An example of this is Solar energy. The sun isn't going away any time soon... Yet, petroleum is.
