    The .06 amps you …
The .06 amps you are measuring is the charge current being delivered by the panel. At that rate it would take 50 hours to charge to 180 amp hours ( 180/.06/60 ). The 800 amps is the max instant current it can deliver.

Nothing while it’s charging. My Xantrex inverter is actually off. When I use it, I plug in a Visio 37″ LCD TV which lasts for 5 hours. I’m looking to expand when I start to get better results.

    I measured between …
I measured between the charger and the battery with the amp meter in-line. The battery would be the load?? from the charger?? The battery does not have an amp-hour rating only a RC rating (reserve capacity) of 180. It says it can deliver 800 starting amps. It is a marine deep cycle battery. Thanks for your help.

    Thanks for getting …
Thanks for getting back to me. It’s a marine deep cycle battery from pep boys with a reserve capacity rating of 180. My voltage during peak hours is about 24 volts. I measured the amps today and it was .06 amps! That’s only 1.44 watts if I measured correctly. That would explain it. How many amps do you get?
