I live in central Texas. I want to install some solar panels on the roof of my house for electricity. Im just not sure how expensive it will be or if it even makes sense to do. My house is one story 2100 square feet.

    ive heard that solar panels are not hard at all to install. However i have priced them on ebay and it really depends on how much power you will need at one time… any solar panel is going to help with your electric bill but if for instance you wanted to weld with just solar power it would get pretty expensive. You can check them out on ebay.

    I recommend checking out http://www.getsolar.com it has some great info (costs, benefits, etc) as well as the ability for you to find an affordable installer in your area.
